Patents: A patent is granted to you by the government. It gives you a privilege to sell or use your invention. A Canadian patent applies within Canada for 20 years from the date you file the application. The patent application is only available for the public in18 months after you file it. Patents invents new inventions (machine, product, composition of matter) or any new and useful existing invention

Industrial designs: Industrial Deigns are the features that can go into any like into a shape, pattern or a design, and the way you make something. Industrial Deigns have to have something that makes the person interested. To get an industrial design your concept has to be yours or a creative ideas

Trademarks: A trademark is a sentence of sounds or noises, or a design. There’s a lot of people uses it that are able to tell the difference between from one service from another service.

Copyright: Copyrights is right to produce or reproduce substantial parts you can work from it and you can deliver it and lecture it. Copyrights can protect you from literary, artistic, dramatic or musical works and other subjects.  

Trade secrets: trade secrets are very valuable in business. Trades secrets include sales methods, distribution methods, customer profiles, client lists, supplier lists, product ingredients and formulas.
